Verifying Your Account

Once you’ve made an account, we’ll send you an email with your verification link. Check your spam folder if this doesn’t show up in your regular inbox. Hit the link to verify your email address and complete your account setup.

If your verification link expires before you’ve had a chance to verify, you can request a new one from within the app login page.

Login Trouble

Make sure you have a stable internet connection and enough signal for a successful login.

If you’ve forgotten your password, click the ‘forgotten password’ button on the login page to reset. Your reset link will be sent by email. Keep an eye on your spam folder if it’s not showing in your inbox.

Email us hello@smilewhite.co.uk if you’re still experiencing login issues.

Settings

During your account setup, we’ll ask for the number of aligners in your treatment plan – you can find this number on your final set of aligners.

If you ever need to change this number, please just email us at hello@smilewhite.co.uk and we’ll update that for you in the app.

Permissions

We need a certain number of permissions on your mobile settings, make sure these are updated so you can use our app smoothly.

Camera Permissions

To take progress pictures, you’ll just need to grant camera permissions for the app in your mobile settings.

Notification Permissions

For aligner tray change reminders, enable notifications for the app in your mobile settings.

Storage Permissions

Our app stores your progress photo uploads and additional information to create your unique timeline. To take advantage of this feature, enable app storage permissions in your mobile settings – only applicable for Android users.
